Indiana says NO MORE, together we can end Domestic Violence and Sexual Violence. ATAP is committed to ensuring that all victims of abuse receive the tools and education necessary to break free from the cycle of violence.
ATAP offers survivor lead supportive groups for victims of Domestic Violence. Groups are held weekly and are 90 minutes in length. Groups focus on assisting victims of trauma achieve the hope, safety and empowerment they need to move past identifying as a victim of violence.
All ATAP Home-based Case Managers are trained within their first year of employment to specifically to support victims of Domestic Violence. ATAP is committed to ensure that all survivors of violence are connected to community resources, are educated on protective factors and receive a comprehensive safety plan. The most dangerous time in intimate partner violence is when a victim decides to leave. ATAP is committed to reducing the risks of homocide for clients by assisting in the implementation of safety measures.
ATAP staff are aware that resources in the community are often not easy to access, which is why staff are committed to standing right alongside when necessary to connect clients to needed services. Our Case Managers are available 7 days a week. Their roles vary from attending court as a support person to providing clients with goal-focused access to transportation.
